The race ends at a new spot, in a field south of Belmont Ave. (Expect an orange finish banner in the field off North Lake Shore Drive & Barry (3000 north; GPS coordinates: 41.937, -87.636)). We've been forewarned that parking for friends and family will be a hassle, particularly if good weather brings a crowd to the lakefront.
Our scheduler spreadsheet suggests our finish will be between 2pm and 4:45pm but we expect to predict with great accuracy by Friday night. Look for a post on this blog at about 9pm on Friday. Any adjustments to the estimate will be posted as well.
Our vans will park 1+ mile north of the finish and we'll ride a shuttle bus to the finish line.
There'll be time for only a brief celebration before the vans roll to get the Madison gang on the road.
