Monique, Renee reach goals at Madison Marathon

Rank Strangers Monique Faber and Renee Roux achieved big goals at the Madison Marathon today, Monique qualifying for the Boston Marathon and Renee completing a fundraising commitment in her sister's honor.

Monique, a two-time Rank Stranger (2005, 2012), completed the race in 3:39 to qualify for Boston.  The race is already filled for 2014; she has set her sights on 2015.

Renee ran in honor of her sister Kim, who is battling cancer.  Renee raised funds for the American Cancer Society in Kim's honor.  If you'd like to donate, follow this link -->  Renee's fundraiser
Renee has run the Madison-Chicago race 6 times, 2007-2008 and 2010-201.  Renee's time was 4:28.
