2013 photo book hits the street
The annual photo book has gone out to 2013 team members, marking the official end of the Rank Stranger season. Link to book (Snapfish)

Rank Strangers had another success in the Madison - Chicago run relay on June 7- 8, 2013. Our 31 hour time met our predicted pace, despite two uplanned course additions (3.8 miles to avoid a broken bridge and 2.2 miles due to a volunteer's 4 AM gaffe) making the planned 195.4 race a record 201.4 miles.
The ninth Rank Stranger team boasted 7 newcomers: Bo Lackey, Bill Shepard, Therese Nolan, Beth Fegan, Pati Flannery, Tim Scott and Paul Miller. That gives us a total of 47 in the Rank Stranger family.
Rank Strangers finished in its typical middle-of-the-pack spot, 145th among the 251 teams in the "Regular Mixed Open" division. Overall we were 260th out of 429 finishers. Our average time per mile was 9:14.

Jeff Shampo (9), Eric Engdahl (9), Art Saffran (8), Renee Roux (6), Pete Boll (4), Paul Miller, Pati Flannery, Bo Lackey, Bill Shepard, Tim Scott, Therese Nolan, Beth Fegan. 7-time runner and co-founder Mark Clear drove Van #1.
