Meachams do it - another Boston Marathon

Rank Strangers Randy and Denise Meacham overcame injury to ran the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 18.   It was Randy's fourth straight Boston race and Denise's third straight.

Denise had the most significant injury to overcome, having a long recovery from foot surgery and only six weeks of training.   "Nothing was going to keep me from running this race," she said afterwards.  Randy had trouble with this shin but said, "I  did my best and I am happy to say I finished without hurting myself which really was my number one goal. My shin hurts a little now but I think a few weeks off and I should be good to go again."

Nine (9) of the 53 Rank Strangers have raced at Boston: Eric Engdahl, Monique Faber, Bob Holzer, Anne Martino, David Maze, Denise Meacham, Randy Meacham, Art Saffran and Jennifer Sell.
