Another miss for Rank Strangers at Hood To Coast

Strike Two!  We failed in our second attempt at acceptance to Hood To Coast (HTC) relay, so we won't race there in 2014.  Got word yesterday that our application had been accepted.  There's always next year (2015).

HTC is the Largest Relay in the world, 33 years old.  The  The 2014 event will include 12,600 runners and 3,600 volunteers.   HTC began in 1982 with 8 teams and has filled the team cap on the opening day of registration for the last 16 years straight.

HTC says we'll get preferential treatment in the lottery next year
and we'll certainly try again.
